(Camilla Steinum)

Goya Curtain is pleased to announce a solo-exhibition by Berlin-based Norwegian artist Camilla Steinum.

Steinum engages with a wide variety of materials, from the temporal to the monumental. Her works often contrast the nature of the materials and their associated uses and meanings, tending towards the ambiguous, disorganized and handmade. At Goya Curtain Steinum will show new sculptural works made of bronze, aluminium and soap, as well as two assemblages. In this exhibition, themes such as relationships, money, violence, luck and childhood are combined in an attempt to heal the absurdity and sadness of cold rationality.
